Day 1

Trading journey so far has been a very bumpy ride. Graduated from Beyond Insights investing and trend trading class in 2019 July. I've never concentrated so hard in class ever in my entire student life. I did well in class, my support resistance lines were on point. I was confident, so I started live trading immediately with $10k USD capital.

First trade was a trade from Boston Scientific Group (BSX). I've been watching the charts since I was in class. Made over $300 from my 1st swing trade.

Made a few subsequent losses after that. One of it was AAPL, I shorted AAPL because I thought I understood the charts. I over traded and risked my account. I lost about $500 from that trade. I remember staring at the chart like a gambler just hoping it would go up.

I calmed myself down the next few days, all losses. Capital at $7200. I stopped trading since then.

I took BI's intraday class in Feburary. Learned new skills, very confident. I again started trading live immediate. I made $1000 in a few trades. Capital back at $8200. After a good week, I couldn't make any trades. I win I lose, I would break even. Every time I trade my heart races. I was impatient. I decided to keep one trade overnight since I thought BABA was strong. BABA plunged the next day. All I had was fear, I closed my position losing $900.

I'm back at $7300 where I started. I was devastated. So I calmed myself again. Started trading again, I was afraid of losing. Whenever I got into a trade, I would move my stop loss to 2 cents above my buy price as soon as the price goes up. This is to prevent me from losing at all. I realized this method will provide me a right trade as the stock market is very volatile during this pandemic. The market would kick me out of every trade I went in.

I was frustrated, so I got into AMD, at 57.53 before earnings. I thought AMD would be a very strong stock. All news were pointing to a bull on AMD. I thought I could make my money back after it gaped up. Next day, it gaped down more than 4%. I was still very confident that AMD would go bull so I removed my stop loss. Day after day, AMD took a nose dive. AMD is now at 50.30 as I am writing this, 1/5/2020 10:30pm.

I am losing $2000 on this trade, I could not take it anymore so I set a stop loss at 49.74. Hoping it would rebound at 50. However, I am ready to lose this trade and start over.
