Day 2 of journal, 5/4/2020, Monday Closed position on AMD on Friday. Capital, $5332 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Market Today - Bear SPY & QQQ - 11:40PM QQQ going strong, SPY found support. Stocks on watch list today AAPL, MSFT, AMD, BABA, BA, ZM Missed the boat on MSFT. Could've entered around $175, but I was looking at other stocks. Made a mistake on BA Shorted BA at $125, thought it would go down to $120 because Warren Buffet sold all his airline stock. However, did not notice it gaped down so much during pre-market. From Yesterday close to today lowest already 6.64%. If it were to go down to $120 it would mean BA dropped over 10%. Trade 1 - Shorted at $125, hit stop loss at, 128. loss $32. Trade 2 -Told myself I would wait at $130.47 to short. Got slightly impatient, shorted at $129.74, stop loss at $131. Stocks went up, came back down, sold because fear of going back up. Made $0. Trading journey so far has been a very bumpy ride. Graduated from Beyond Insights investing and trend trading class in 2019 July. I've never concentrated so hard in class ever in my entire student life. I did well in class, my support resistance lines were on point. I was confident, so I started live trading immediately with $10k USD capital. First trade was a trade from Boston Scientific Group (BSX). I've been watching the charts since I was in class. Made over $300 from my 1st swing trade.  Made a few subsequent losses after that. One of it was AAPL, I shorted AAPL because I thought I understood the charts. I over traded and risked my account. I lost about $500 from that trade. I remember staring at the chart like a gambler just hoping it would go up.  I calmed myself down the next few days, all losses. Capital at $7200.
